OGPC is committed to helping create a better world by following Jesus' commandments to Love God and to Love One Another.

Old Greenwich Presbyterian Church has a history of commitment to social justice that all people might be treated as God's own. This was true during the Civil Rights movement, true as they called a female pastor to be their leader in 1988 far ahead of the norm, true as they've hosted programs such as the recent "Neighbor and Neighborhood: A Dialogue between the Sikh and PC(USA) Communities." Led by Rev. Christine Hong from the Office of Interfaith Relations of the Presbyterian Mission Agency and Haroop Kaur of the Sikh Coalition, we learned about Sikhism, our own Presbyterian heritage, and how we can be faithful to God in Jesus Christ while also respecting others. This commitment to love in action is a hallmark of the OGPC legacy.
