Nursery – Parents may stay in worship or, if they desire, bring their children to our well-equipped Nursery Room, where the worship service is simulcast on closed circuit TV. We offer this feature in Memorial Hall as well.

Sunday School – a Sunday School program is offered for children in Pre-Kindergarten through 4th grade. They begin in worship with their families, come forward for Time with the Young Church (the children's lesson), and are then escorted to their classrooms. Young people in grades 5-7 attend Sunday School classes at 9:30 am, and then are invited to remain in worship with parents after the Time with the Young Church. Youth in 8th grade and above remain in church during worship and meet on Sunday evenings for fellowship, games, discussions, and more.

Summer Sunday School – weather permitting, Sunday School students tend the Mission Garden each week for the entire summer. A permission slip must be filled out for each child. (Forms can be found on the Mission Garden table in the Green Room at church.) Please make sure your Sunday School student wears clothing and shoes appropriate for gardening, as they will be weeding and picking produce. Last year, our garden yielded over 2,770 lbs. of produce. This total includes 32 lbs. of fresh veggies from a member's home garden that our church donated to a local food bank. With your help, we hope to exceed that amount next year. Volunteers are needed to help supervise the children in the garden during Summer Sunday School. If you can donate your time on a Sunday morning for this truly worthy cause, please speak to any Sunday School teacher.

Old Greenwich's Mission

The congregation of OGPC fully embraces its responsibility to bring the word of God into the community and world. We look to be inspired and unified in our shared mission:

“To Celebrate the Love of God in All We Say and Do”

And so, with the leadership of a new pastor and secure in God’s love and guidance, OGPC approaches the unknown future with commitment that God’s will be done and that as God’s people, we can witness the power and glory of God through our own actions. In doing so, we will celebrate the love of God in all we say and do.
