One of the most important aspects of being a Christian is being in community with one another. While we enjoy worshiping on Sunday morning together, we truly get to know each other in the many other aspects of our life together. A few examples are:
- Post-worship Fellowship - each Sunday after worship, we have the opportunity to meet and greet one another around a cup of coffee or tea and a delicious homemade goodie.
- Numerous Church Family Meals - it could be at the Annual Congregational Meeting, our Youth Group breaking their 30 hour fast, or some other reason, we love to eat, and we love to share our homemade offerings. Truly, Old Greenwich has some of the best potluck suppers you will ever encounter!
- Presbyterian Women (PW)'s Intentional Fun Outings - the first Sunday of the month from October to May, Presbyterian Women hosts a get-together that is about nurturing our spirits. We might be holding a scavenger hunt, learning how to arrange flowers, doing a chocolate tasting, or something else equally entertaining, but whatever it is, it's sure to include laughter and build friendships at the same time.
- Building & Grounds Annual Spring Clean-Up - that's right, there are opportunities for you to use a chainsaw, dig in the dirt, and just generally feel good about connecting with God's green earth. This annual event is one that nurtures the soul and beautifies our community at the same time.
